 Coding for Kids - Scratch Jr. Dance Party Link to lesson plan I plan to use this lesson when teaching science, specifically when teaching computer science students. However, through this class and the other STEAM classes, I have realized the importance of incorporating technology into teaching all subjects. Scratch and Scratch Jr. make it easy to integrate that technology into anything that I may teach. I'm excited to learn more about the app and find different ways that students can incorporate it into their learning.

 Teaching with Technology - Scratch Jr. Link to App Link to Lesson Plan Using technology in the classroom prepares students for the modern world. It enhances learning, improves student engagement, and promotes accessibility. Teaching my classmates a mini-lesson about Scratch Jr was very beneficial for my future teaching. It allowed me to get feedback about the lesson and what I may need to change or prepare for when teaching it to my grade 3 students. Overall, I would say that the app was found very useful and a great tool to incorporate into the classroom. After teaching, I would say that I need to become more familiar with the app in order to be able to answer more questions the students may have when working with it. It also taught me that it is okay to not have all the answers right away and that the students may also teach me stuff about the app that I did not know about. I'm excited to learn more about the app and use it in my practicum to teach the students about coding and ...
